My name is Tristan Bernard, I am a Junior mechanical engineering major at Northeastern University, and I am excited to be chosen as a Patti Grace Smith Fellow this year! I am originally from Maplewood, New Jersey, and I am excited to spend my summer in Cambridge, MA, as an Electro-Mechanical Instrument Intern at Draper. At Northeastern University, I have spent my time in leadership positions in the Black Engineering Student Society, while also working on different drone and rocket engine projects within AeroNU. In my free time, I love to do anything outdoors like snowboarding, biking, playing basketball, and traveling. I am looking forward to my summer as a Patti Grace Smith Fellow and contributing to the aerospace community!
