Trinity Taylor is an undergraduate student majoring in physics at NCSU. She hopes to earn a career researching astrophysics and is currently working on a cosmology research project with Dr. Mack examining the evolution of various background radiation sources over cosmic time. When she’s not researching, Trinity also leads a community initiative she began as her Gold Award project, the STEAM Dream, which aims to teach kids about the interdisciplinary relevance of science, technology, engineering, art, and mathematics. In part, her inspiration for this project derived from her experience helping students on her NC Science Olympiad team in high school. Currently, Trinity is a member of the McNair Scholars Program, the Society of Physics Students, and the National Society of Black Physicists as well as an 1887 Fellow. She enjoys drawing, crafting, and reading in her spare time.
