Paisley Elaine Crocker is an Aviation Management major at Hampton University who is purposefully building her career at the intersection of leadership, flight, and aerospace innovation. Her passion for aerospace began at a young age, where early exposure to aircraft and the power of flight sparked a curiosity that quickly evolved into a purpose. What started as a fascination became a firm commitment, leading her to intentionally pursue aviation as both a career and a calling.

She is a well-rounded student leader with strong on-campus involvement and consistent community engagement, using every space she enters as an opportunity to serve and uplift others. Since entering college, Paisley has dedicated herself to breaking barriers in an industry where representation remains limited. She has taken the initiative to foster community within her department, pursued hands-on industry experiences, and continues building experience on the flight deck while working toward advanced certifications and long-term career growth in aviation.

Grounded in servant leadership and driven by impact, Paisley approaches aerospace with technical focus and discipline shaped by her flight training experience. She is passionate about innovation, emerging technologies, and expanding access for the next generation of leaders in flight. Through the Patti Grace Smith Fellowship, she is eager to deepen her knowledge of aerospace innovation and is especially excited to work with Joby Aviation as she continues her mission to open doors, challenge norms, and help shape a more inclusive future for the industry.
