Marquel Ollivierre is a third-year Aerospace Engineering major at Georgia Institute of Technology. Marquel has always been passionate about and curious about planes and spacecraft, which fuels Marquel's hobbies like plane spotting and drone flying. As a Georgia Tech African American Male Initiative member, Marquel hopes to spread African American culture and capability throughout the aerospace engineering industry. Marquel loves passing down information to the younger generation and he hopes to gain experience throughout this fellowship that will allow him to foster black academic success. Marquel's time at Ursa Major will be thoroughly used to develop connections and expertise, all towards the path of having an impact on the community.
