Liam (Johnson) Hunte

Liam (Johnson) Hunte is currently a sophomore at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University Daytona Beach, FL, where he is pursuing a Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Aerospace Engineering specializing in propulsion. Liam is a member of the National Leadership Honor Society and the National Society of Black Engineers. Liam’s other interests include computer science and is self-taught in various computer skills including MATLAB Machine Learning and C-programming. This summer Liam is excited to start his internship with Hawkeye 360, a world-leader in space-based radio frequency geo-analytics, where he will be working with other Aerospace and computer science engineers. An excellent opportunity to learn first hand about the novel geospatial intelligence solutions developed at Hawkeye 360. Liam excels in leadership roles and one of his projects during his freshman year at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University involved leading his team in the design, calculations and manufacturing process for a completely additively manufactured LEO launch vehicle. Upon completion of his Bachelor's degree, Liam plans to pursue graduate studies to increase his knowledge and skill in Aerospace Engineering to further prepare for leadership and entrepreneurship. For relaxation, Liam enjoys soccer, robotics, CAD modeling and prototyping ideas for inventions, community outreach and fundraising.
