From Clifton, NJ, a melting pot of culture and wealth, by watching leaders in my community, I learned that education and action allow you to achieve success, regardless of your background or goals in life. While attending Clifton High School, I was the student council president, one of the best cross-country and track athletes in my school’s history, and, as an operator, driver, and lead programmer, I helped my FRC robotics team become the best in the Mid-Atlantic region.
Outside of school, I’ve sought to empower my community with my knowledge. I was a web development instructor at All Star Code. I created a Nonprofit, Teens Teach, and developed an associated educational website that won the Congressional App Challenge. In the summer of my senior year, I was an astrophysics researcher at New Mexico State University and also started my own coding camp. During my senior year, I was a Governor’s STEM Scholar and developed a teleoperated medicine delivery robot from scratch.
As a merit and presidential scholar at Harvey Mudd College, I am currently pursuing a major in Engineering, with the goal of becoming a firmware engineer. Outside of the classroom, I train for ultramarathons and assist in developing Mudd’s RISC-V microprocessor.
