Elizabeth Antoine-Hands

Elizabeth Antoine-Hands is an FAA Certified Airframe & Powerplant Mechanic, an Aerospace Engineering student at San Jose State University and an Assistant Analyst for NASA ASRS (Aviation Safety Reporting System). She is highly passionate about building a diverse, multidisciplinary future for Aerospace.

Currently, Elizabeth is a sitting board member for EAA (Experimental Aircraft Association) Chapter 20 in San Carlos CA, and the Director of their Youth Aircraft Build Program. As Program Director, Elizabeth mentors and oversees 30+ high school and college students as they collaboratively assemble a two-seater light sport aircraft.

She ultimately plans to pursue a Ph.D. in Aerospace Engineering and aims to combine technical understanding with practical experience to develop holistic design methodologies for air and space vehicles that prioritize maintainability, sustainability, longevity, and safety.
