Dehsawn Johnson is a fourth-year Aerospace Engineering major at Georgia Institute of Technology, currently residing in Fairburn, GA but born in Bamburg, Germany. Deshawn's fascination with space ignited through Star Wars and various sci-fi movies. The depth of his passion grew as Deshawn realized the immense knowledge we can gain about the universe and ourselves. Deshawn's commitment and passion for space expiration extends to Aero Afro Astro, where he holds a position on the executive board as an event coordinator. As an executive member of the organization, Deshawn is able to actively contribute to the creation of a supportive community for underrepresented minorities. Aero Afro Astro's mission is to connect individuals with industry leaders and diverse career opportunities and Deshawn is grateful to be a part of something so impactful for his community.
