Bille Daniel

  • Patti Grace Smith Fellow, Class of 2022

  • University of Notre Dame , Aerospace Engineering, ‘24

  • Host Institution: Maxar Technologies

Bille is currently in his second year at the University of Notre Dame majoring in Aerospace Engineering. This summer, Bille will be working with Maxar Technologies as a Systems Engineer intern. Growing up, he was always so fascinated with space and loved to take things apart to see how it functions so when he was told aerospace engineering is a possibility as a career, he immediately knew that was what he wanted to do for the rest of his life. He lives by the belief that everything he does is in the name of his family. Through his hard work and accomplishments, he feels that he is able to serve as a testimony for all the sacrifices his parents made to get him where he is today. Bille is a QuestBridge Scholar at his dream school, the University of Notre Dame and is also a Galvin Scholar within the engineering program at the university. Through his career, Bille hopes to become a voice for the meek and underprivileged. Getting to where he is and where he wants to go is no easy feat and he would love to serve as an outlet for others in order to build a strong support system for anyone who needs it.

Fun Fact: Bille is an avid fan of soccer and will never turn down the opportunity to either play or watch the sport.
