For Brianna Nike Lola Olalekan, a senior at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette, the excitement of venturing into the Aerospace industry consumes her every thought. Bianna's major in Physics, coupled with a minor in Chemistry and a concentration in pre-allied health, has made her academic journey nothing short of exhilarating.

A significant facet of Bianna's college experience is her role as an officer in the Society of Physics Students (SPS), where the SPS National Council has recognized her university's SPS Chapter as a 2022-23 Notable Chapter. Beyond the confines of the classroom, Bianna's passion for community service finds expression through Americorps at ULL. Here, she contribute to projects addressing housing and environmental needs, providing her with a profound sense of purpose beyond academia.

Guided by her experiences in research, Bianna has delved into the captivating realm of magnetic materials, an exploration that has not only deepened her understanding but has also solidified Bianna's passion for scientific inquiry and personal growth with the help of intelligent and supportive professors.

On a more artistic note, Bianna find herself immersed on the stage in dance productions like "Evening of Dance" and 'Fall Dance' within the university's vibrant dance department. Additionally, as a proud member of the African Student Association (ASA), Bianna eagerly participate in the annual cultural show, "African Night," celebrating and showcasing diversity and fostering cultural exchange amongst our peers.

As a Patti Grace Smith Fellow, Bianna eagerly anticipates not only gaining a head start within the aerospace industry but also forming new and lasting connections with the aerospace community as a whole. Beyond the realms of professional aspirations, Bianna's mission is crystal clear—to make a positive impact on her community and inspire others to reach for the stars.
