Ashton is a third year Aerospace Engineering student at the University of Florida. Throughout Ashton's years at university, he has gained an interest for developing a broad understanding of the systems that dictate the functionality of what engineers build. Fortunately, Ashton has been able to intern as a systems engineer over the past summer and develop those skills. While at UF, you can typically find him either working on research on composite materials, studying with his friends in the library basement, or playing recreational soccer with friends. Additionally, Ashton acts as an advisor for mechanical and aerospace students for SHPE UF and hopes to inspire the next generation of engineers towards achieving their goals!
