Alexis Horton is a first-year student at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering. This has been her career dream since the fourth grade, when she saw a robot in the library window of her elementary school. She has expressed interests and explored hobbies in robotics engineering, civil engineering, mechanical engineering, and aerospace engineering.
