Chanel Davis is a sophomore at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University in Prescott, Arizona, majoring in Aerospace Engineering with a minor in Alternative Energy. Born and raised in Oceanside, California, Chanel discovered her passion for aerospace from a young age. She envisions a future as a flight test engineer or a contributor to aerospace research and development, all while advocating for diversity and justice.

Chanel actively addresses the importance of diversity, equity, and inclusion in engineering classrooms and the industry. Her current research focuses on engineering equity in introductory engineering classrooms. As the Vice President of the National Society of Black Engineers, she dedicates herself to promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion in STEM fields through active participation in forums, initiatives, and events.

Beyond her academic and advocacy pursuits, Chanel finds joy in Formula 1, seamlessly blending her love for engineering with the excitement of high-speed racing. She values making cherished memories with friends and family, exemplifying the perfect balance between academic dedication and personal enrichment, and fostering a passion for aerospace innovation.
