My name is Brianna Nike Lola Olalekan. As a senior at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette, the excitement of venturing into the Aerospace industry consumes me. My major in Physics, coupled with a minor in Chemistry and a concentration in pre-allied health, has made this journey nothing short of exhilarating.

A significant facet of my college experience is my role as an officer in the Society of Physics Students (SPS), where the SPS National Council has recognized our University's SPS Chapter as a 2022-23 Notable Chapter. Beyond the confines of the classroom, my passion for community service finds expression through Americorps at ULL. Here, I contribute to projects addressing housing and environmental needs, providing me with a profound sense of purpose beyond academia.

Guided by my experiences in research, I've delved into the captivating realm of magnetic materials, an exploration that has not only deepened my understanding but has also solidified my passion for scientific inquiry and personal growth with the help of intelligent and supportive professors.

On a more artistic note, I find myself immersed on the stage in dance productions like "Evening of Dance" and 'Fall Dance' within the university's vibrant dance department. Additionally, as a proud member of the African Student Association (ASA), I eagerly participate in the annual cultural show, "African Night," celebrating and showcasing diversity and fostering cultural exchange amongst our peers.

As a Patti Grace Smith Fellow, I eagerly anticipate not only gaining a head start within the aerospace industry but also forming new and lasting connections with the aerospace community as a whole. Beyond the realms of professional aspirations, my mission is crystal clear—to make a positive impact on my community and inspire others to reach for the stars. As I eagerly anticipate the journey ahead, I am ready to learn, grow, and bring my unique perspective to the forefront of the Aerospace frontier.
